Is money bad?

One of the survey revealed that 90% of the respondents voted that the money is bad, and 10% said money is good.

Another survey revealed that 95% of the same respondents said that they want to be rich.
Do you see the disconnect here?

The people who stated the money was bad wanted to become rich. How can we achieve something which we presume as bad?

Our society preaches that the money is the mother of all evil, and the same society give VIP status to the rich. It is full of contradiction.

Some people say that they need money little enough to lead a comfortable life, because they fear that too much of money make them evil, and the same people jealous someone who live a luxury life.

What you think about it? Please post your comments.

I shall share my views on this after some time.

Those who feel money is evil will not attract money.

Money is neither good nor bad.

Actually, there is no source of evil. There is only an absence of good.

It is important to clean up your thoughts about money. I hear and see it quite often. Petty jealousy about how much money someone else has, how they earned it, whether they deserve it, etc. etc. I even see resentment about what is given to those who have little. Those doing the giving believe giving helps when, in reality, helping the individual who is needy understand they CAN do for themselves, that they are not helpless, would help them so much more. Those who resent what is given harm themselves as well.

In order to receive money you have to believe you deserve it, that you are worthy, etc.

    Hi prem

I think you are starting something very interesting here. Money is a necessicity of the mordern world. If you dont have money you may be able to survive but you will not get all the modern necessicitites (comforts) in life that we are used to like - even internet, phone, etc and as humans we still need to make sure that we can fill our stomach and that of those who depend on us.
Money is a need like food and if you can fulfill your daily needs and learn to control your needs to the minimum then we can pursue the higher needs of life like self realisation.
They say you cant pray in an empty stomach though some yogis may be doing this a common man cant and hence the need of money. But too much of anything is poison and the same applies to money too. I too am struggling to earn enough to not worry about earning in the future but every time you try and reach the goal post the post seems to move further down the road,
What do you say? I dont know my limits and would defenitely like to hear ur thoughts on how to set these limits in life.

Thanks for your articles some are really good keep up the good work. Bye for now
